As we head into 2026, the Canadian Kettlebell Alliance (CKA) is streamlining its membership structure. Starting January 1, 2026, a CKA membership will be valid from January 1 to December 31 of the respective calendar year.
A current member with a membership expiry in 2026, the CKA is asking for a one-time supplement to carry through until December 31, 2026. This is calculated at $4/month, from month after expiry until December 31. For example: March 1 expiry date. April to December = 9 months. 9 x $4 = $36. Current members should have received an email with thier expiry date and supplement calculation. Contact us if you have any questions.
The annual fee will continue to be $50, and 2027 memberships will be due on January 1, 2027.
For New or Expired Members, the annual fee is $50 if purchased in January or February. Beginning March 1, the membership is prorated, depending on remaining months. A new or expired member starting Mar 1 will pay $5 per complete remaining month, e.g. Apr to Dec, 9 months x 5 = $45.
The fee is recommended for all lifters attending a CKA event that want to support the organization’s growth, however, it is only required for those attempting to qualify for Team Canada.
These fees serve to cover some of the annual expenses for the Canadian Kettlebell Alliance including:
1) You can send an INTERAC e-Trasnfer of $50 to Canadian Kettlebell Alliance admin@cka-sport.org with "CKA Membership" in the message, or
2) When you register for a CKA National Team Qualifier event, you can add you membership fee with the event registration fee.
